During the last pandemic lockdown, I followed an online course on oil portraiture – something I have never done and certainly in a technique which was new to me.
All my portraits are on panels measuring 15cmx15cm ( 6″x6″) and are characterised by a close cropping of the face. They are based on ” unposed” photographs and take about a week to complete. A commissioned portrait is £500.
